We are so proud today. We have hit the big time — with a mention on the blog Milkcrate Digest. Does it get any bigger than Milkcrate Digest? I think not. Not if you love milk crates.
I was first alerted to this site last year, after someone mentioned it in a comment. But I hadn’t been there in a while.
Well, I was browsing around Milkcrate Digest again today. Did you know that a sculptor has built an arch of milk crates in Philadelphia? Yes, the city of the Liberty Bell also has a milk crate arch. The arch is called “Perso/Trovo” (which, as near as I can tell, is “Lost/Found” in Italian). You can buy a version of “Perso/Trovo” (20 feet high!) through FineArtAmerica.com for $60,000. Hurry, it might go fast.
And if you think you have seen some outrageous crate bikes here in Le Tour, Milkcrate Digest has posted about some notable craties, as well. My favorite is the one with real working turn signals!
