ON BIKE CULTURE IN EUGENE | Fine blogging since 2010 (with periodic long breaks)
We’re more than halfway through Le Tour de Milk Crate now (thank goodness), and the grueling race is clearly wearing on our competitors. Our rider here, stretched to his limit, passes a field of lovely yellow sunflowers as he heads into the high mountains of the fairgrounds, where the real contenders will be sorted out.
(DISCLAIMER: It should go without saying that all of the photos we present here in our coverage of Le Tour de Milk Crate are actual candid photos of actual innocent bystanders spotted in Eugene. No dramatizations or setups have been used, heavens no.)
Catch up on all of this year’s nonsense.
